June 2022 - The Bad, Good and Great

Hi CK Westbrook readers.

I want to begin by acknowledging that it has been a turbulent month for America. The January 6 hearings have been informative, heartbreaking, and disturbing. The Supreme Court rulings have triggered intense emotions all around and may contribute to more suffering and violence. I remain hopeful that things will soon change and peace, love, respect, empathy, and kindness will prevail in our nation.

June has also been a busy month for the novel The Shooting.

I did some fun book signings, including one in Winston-Salem North Carolina. The Shooting spent some time at the beach and had a blast at Awesome Con in Washington D.C. I was flattered that Sean Astin was interested in the book and hope he reads it! I sure hope Noah Schnapp and David Mizejewski read it as well!

But even better than fun celebrities, The Shooting has received many more excellent reviews and ratings on Amazon and Goodreads. If you have read it, please consider doing a review.
